About the Author

A semi-professional daydreamer who's mildly obsessed with Pachelbel's Canon, but not so much about splitting infinitives, R.S. Kovach spends her time juggling a family, working as a senior higher-education administrator, and procrastinating on Facebook. In the rare instances that she does manage to be productive, she continues her graduate research in Venetian mosaics, as well as writes novels for her own amusement. 

After spending five years in the exotic-sounding, yet surprisingly ordinary Arabian Gulf country of Qatar, she now lives with her husband and three boys in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. Follow her on Twitter at @rskovach
